Willie Mays Mural

As a part of the Rickwood Field “Tribute to the Negro Leauges” game, I worked with Colossal Media and renowned illustrator Chuck Styles to paint a mural in downtown Birmingham, Alabama honoring the roots of Willie Mays upbringing. Six painters worked for nine days, gradually attracting attention locally and nationally. Three hours after the mural was complete, Willie Mays passed away and the mural became the site of a memorial for fans and family to bring flowers and pay their respects to the greatest baseball player of all time.
